Dragons Abreast 10th Annual Festival -
Corporate and Community Challenge
Saturday 21 October
Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour, Sydney
Registration for our 10th Annual Dragons Abreast Festival is now open!!
We invite Corporate, Social, Hospital and Dragons Abreast crews to register and join in the fun of a dragon boat regatta for a great cause, held in the hub of Sydney on beautiful Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour, NSW, Australia. This is DAA’s largest annual ‘fun'draiser as we receive no Government funding nor have major sponsors. It is all about raising breast cancer awareness and funds to keep our unique national organisation ‘afloat’ and enable us to grow.
As well as corporate and social teams, we invite breast cancer teams and last year had survivors from Canada and New Zealand, to join us! Can’t get a full team together? No problem, we can place you in one of our composite teams, Dragons Abreast ‘Hope', ‘Spirit' or ‘Inspiration'.
The Board is pleased to advise that Angie O’Reilly has been reappointed as our Festival Project Manager to deliver ‘our best Festival yet’. Angie is seeking Team Liaison Officers (TLO) from DA to assist with communicating with the crews. Ideally a TLO would have participated at a previous Festival, have some knowledge of the registration process and will be attending this year. It’s not an onerous task and it is rewarding and an important part of keeping up communication and encouraging our Corporate, Social and Hospital Crews. Contact Angie if you are interested is helping out.
Thankyou to our Festival Sponsors -
