Dragons Abreast Australia groups are hosted several ‘Come and Try’ days for interested new paddlers, in line with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, our National Paddle Month.
Many DA groups across Australia, shared the mission of encouraging wellness, fitness, fun and camaraderie for breast cancer survivors through the sport of dragon boating and promoting breast cancer awareness throughout the community by hosting popular 'Come and Try' days.
Breast cancer patients, survivors and their family and friends had the opportunity to try our awesome sport for free from Bunbury to Byron Bay, during the month of October
Thank you to our groups for displaying Dragons Abreast Australia as a leader in the movement for people affected by breast cancer; spreading awareness, empowering individuals, and educating on the benefits of an active lifestyle after diagnosis!
