Ann Fuss Port Lincoln
About Ann Fuss
Our “Flowers on the Water” ceremony commemorated our angel Ann, who was always an enthusiastic dragon boat drummer who loved being on the water with us.
One of her experiences was drumming in our first Port Lincoln Corporate Challenge, receiving quite a drenching.
We remember how happy and proud she was to participate as a drummer in the International Breast Cancer Paddling Commission Festival in Sarasota, Florida in 2014.
Ann was a gentle, smiling lady who quickly integrated herself into the heart and soul of Dragons Abreast Port Lincoln. We remember and admired her artwork when she designed our very large 10th Birthday Cake Float, the sea themed Tunarama Float, and painting a special piece for a raffle, and of course her apple pies at our functions! We saw the cheeky side of Ann when she along with others, walked the streets of Port Lincoln wearing a decorated bra in a Tunarama street procession.
The flowers represent Ann who fought both breast and ovarian cancers and is our way of remembering and honouring her.
We will miss Ann and thank her for being part of our lives.
