Welcome to Our Community
Dragons Abreast Geelong – the Juggernauts – was founded in 2003. We come from a range of different backgrounds with different levels of fitness and boating experience and are from a range of ages. Our common background is that we have been impacted by Breast Cancer – either as Survivors or the friends and family of a Survivor.
We are dedicated to helping Survivors regain confidence, a sense of control and wellness! We want to encourage fitness and wellbeing, to enjoy the support and companionship of fellow survivors – and have fun!
Training Times
Where and when?
We train on Saturdays at 12.30pm on the Barwon River in Geelong with our base at the Geelong Canoe Club, Marnock St, Newtown.
What to Bring and Wear
How do I get involved?
You are welcome to have a try before joining! No previous boating experience is necessary and all equipment is supplied. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes (that you don’t mind getting wet!) – we will provide the rest.
