About Our Next Event

Dragons Abreast Australia is excited to explore the possibility of entering a DAA crew for the 2026 Pan Pacific Masters Games, to be held on the Gold Coast from 12–14 November 2026.

The Pan Pacific Masters Games are one of the largest masters sporting festivals in the world, bringing together thousands of athletes from across Australia and internationally for an incredible celebration of sport. Dragon boating is always a highlight of the program, with crews racing hard on the water while enjoying the vibrant festival atmosphere off it.

For many paddlers, Pan Pacs offers the perfect blend of competition, camaraderie, and fun. Whether you’re chasing a medal, keen to race with fellow DAA paddlers, or simply looking forward to being part of the energy of this iconic event, it’s always a fantastic experience.

At this stage, we are inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from paddlers who would like to be part of a Dragons Abreast Australia crew.

Submitting an EOI helps us understand the level of interest and determine whether we can form one or more DAA crews for the event.

Who can submit an EOI?

We welcome interest from:

  • Breast Cancer Survivor paddlers
  • Supporter paddlers
  • DAA members who enjoy both competitive and social festival racing

Once we have an idea of numbers, we will provide further details about crew formation, event registration, and next steps.

If you’d like to be part of the adventure and help bring a splash of pink to the Gold Coast, we’d love to hear from you.

We can’t wait to see how many Dragons Abreast paddlers are ready to take on Pan Pacs 2026! 🐉💗
