Wollumbin (Mt Warning)

State: NSW

Welcome to Our Community

Dragons Abreast Wollumbin proudly honours the traditional owners’ name for our club. Wollumbin, the first place in Australia touched by the sun, watches over us as we paddle the Tweed River in Northern New South Wales.

Founded in 2007 by breast cancer survivors, our club has grown into a warm, inclusive community built on strength, recovery, and friendship. We paddle together up to three times a week and share many activities beyond the boat. We paddle from the boat ramp at Tumbulgum on Saturday mornings. Join us at 7.30am. No experience is required and equipment is provided for ages and fitness levels.

Whether competing or enjoying long paddles along our beautiful river, we welcome all with open arms.

If you are not ready for paddling, our Healing Together support group is for those undergoing or recently completing treatment. In partnership with local clinics and hospitals, we encourage connection, confidence, and movement.
