Dragons Abreast Orange are part of and supported by Pinnacle Dragon Boat Club. We train on beautiful Lake Canobolas at the foot of the mountain of the same name and overlooked by The Pinnacle, ( half way up the mountain).
There are training sessions for the competitive and for those who just like to participate and enjoy the beautiful surroundings – with delicious coffee at the Lake House after.
We have members who have represented Regional NSW at National Championships, we have members who just enjoy competing at local regattas, some who’ve travelled to Italy, Israel and China and those who enjoy the challenge of marathon dragon boating,
Training Times
During daylight saving we train Monday and Wednesday evenings 5.45pm, Friday and Sunday mornings 9.30am.
Rest of the year – Friday and Sundays only. And when the frosts and snow arrive – theres the ‘pool paddling’ , the boxing at the PCYC with former Commonwealth Champion or Pilates”
